Last Bite of Chocolate City?

“The Last Bite of Chocolate City?” is a documentation of African American’s culture, hardships and joy in D.C. A large amount of the photographs are from Southeast. The District used to have a high population of brown people; due to gentrification and violence most of the quadrants have lost it’s African American presence. Southeast is “The Last Bite of Chocolate City?” that hasn’t been affected heavily by the changes, it is slowly happening. The raw images in this are thought provoking and will delight the eyes and soul with its beauty. It’ll give viewers a clear insight on what it’s like to be Brown in D.C.
